If you tilt your head,

You’ll see something special,

Glitter everywhere.

 

Green

 

Green is the color of nature,

Thrives as leaves,

Flourishes to be the grass,

Valuable like emerald,

It is justice,

Fertility and hope,

Green brings peace to all.

To the blazing sun, hello,

To the blissful clouds, hello,

To the warm wind, hello,

To the bright blue sky, hello,

To the world, hello.

 

Horizon

 

It separates earth from sky,

A beautiful divide,

It is more than just a boundary,

It is a landmark.

 

I wonder…

 

I wonder about tomorrow,

I wonder about what happened yesterday,

I wonder about the dream I had last night,

I wonder if I’ll succeed,

I wonder if I should still try when things get difficult,

I wonder if everyone else wonders as much as me.

Behind the mask,

Behind the cover flap,

Of the book,

Her book,

She is someone else entirely,

But she’s afraid,

To let the world,

Flip open the book,

And read the pages,

For what if

She is mocked,

What if,

She is not accepted,

But who are they to judge?

When she is the only one,

To be faithful to herself,

And bring out from the shadows,

Her true identity.

 

 

I’m Scared of So Many Things

 

I’m scared of so many things,

Bees frighten me,

Dogs make me faint,

I’m afraid of worms,

Spiders make me scream,

I’m petrified of the sun,

Dark horrifies me,

I distress myself,

But everyone’s like that,

With their own fears.
